Batfish

My sculpture of a batfish  capture the unique appearance and graceful movements of this marine creature. The sculpture depicts the batfish swimming through the water, with its distinctive round, flat body and long, trailing dorsal and anal fins. I emphasize the batfish's large, wide-set pectoral fins, which resemble wings and give the fish its name. Through my sculpture I convey the sense of weightlessness and fluidity that characterizes the batfish's underwater movements.
